UKNEQAS  for Cellular Pathology Technique

UKNEQAS is a co-ordinating body overseeing the operations of a number of External Quality Assessment programmes for Pathology. UKNEQAS CPT provides EQA for Cellular Pathology Technique, especially section production and staining. UKNEQAS CPT is fully accredited by CPA(UK) Ltd. We provide technical EQA programmes covering:

• General Histopathology - for Cellular Pathology labs operating in a clinical setting. 
• Neuropathology - for neuro labs, departments or sections operating in a clinical setting.
• Renal biopsies - for renal labs, departments or sections operating in a clinical setting.
• Muscle Histochemistry - for muscle labs, departments or sections operating in a clinical setting.
• Veterinary Pathology - for clinical veterinary and non-clinical laboratories. Subscribers include veterinary colleges, veterinary practioner labs, government agricultural labs and pharmaceutical research institutions.
• Veterinary Immunocytochemistry - same participant parameters as Veterinary Pathology. Antibodies include pan T-cell, desmin, smooth muscle actin, pan cytokeratin, vimentin, S100 and GFAP.

All programmes are available to public and private sectors in the UK and overseas. Participants register for 12 months during which they receive 6 EQA circulations.

UKNEQAS CPT uses EqaPassport to manage login identities. This gives laboratory managers the ability to control access to their registration while giving individuals the freedom to choose and maintain their own login identities.
